Day 1: Delhi-Corbett National Park
Drive from Delhi to Tiger Camp (6 hours) in a private car. Arrive at Tiger Camp by noon. After lunch, we go for an elephant ride giving you ample time to study the behaviour of this magnificent and intelligent mammal. After a slide show, dinner is served in the ‘Gol Ghar’ dining area.
Day 2: Corbett National Park
Drive in an open jeep to the Dhangarhi gate for entry to the Dhikala tourism zone. The safari through the stately, dense Sal jungle is from where the wildlife adventure of Corbett park begins. This offers a great opportunity for viewing wildlife, especially the tiger in its natural habitat. After a 30 km drive we arrive at the main tourist complex at Dhikala. After lunch relax in the serene, lingering quietness of the complex and capture the panoramic expanse of the river valley with your camera. In the afternoon we drive along on a track along the periphery of the core area. This exciting drive takes us through the unforgettable, sylvan beauty of the Khinanauli range, which offers a chance of sighting the elusive tiger. We now proceed towards Chimtakhal gate for a drive to Riverine Woods along the Ramganga River, crossing the river at Balluli bridge, before entering the Kanda Range, where Jim Corbett shot the famous Kanda man-eater. Overnight at the Riverine Woods.
Day 3 : Corbett National Park
We fish for the Mahseer, as this stretch is one of the best beats for angling in the country (don’t forget to get your rod and tackle along!). We will also go for long walks to track wildlife and birdwatch with a guide. The day is spent experiencing the real wilderness of the Corbett Tiger Reserve. Barbeque dinner and overnight stay in a cottage.
Day 4 : Corbett National Park-Delhi
We spend the morning driving in the Lohachaur grasslands or the Bijrani Range Forest, which will involve a lot of tiger tracking, animal viewing and birding. We drive back to Tiger Camp at a slow pace, for an early lunch, before you leave for your next destination.
